Janet C. Salazar
Janet C. Salazar, the CEO and Co-Founder of IMPACT Leadership 21™, also serves as the Permanent Representative and Permanent Observer to the United Nations at Foundation for the Support of the United Nations (FSUN), an international NGO in General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council and associated with UN Department of Public Information. Janet is also the President and Co-Founder of MVI Advisors, a New York–based global firm of experts providing highly specialized consulting, coaching, training and advisory on multicultural leadership development, strategies and business platforms.
A Leadership Architect for emerging global leaders in high-growth economies, Janet’s expertise is assisting leaders in creating authentic, profound, long lasting impact in their organizations and personal lives. She is a confidential advisor and sounding board to top senior and emerging women executives and leaders, CEOs, expatriates, nonprofit leaders, diplomats, entrepreneurs, artists and visionaries across the globe. As a Certified Executive and Master Coach Trainer, she trains senior executives maximize their abilities to coach and unleash the potential of emerging leaders and prepare them to take on the challenges of a diverse, hyper-connected world.
Janet is the creator of the innovative dialogue series, Conversations with Men™, an executive forum with the mission of engaging men in leadership roles to accelerate women’s leadership at the top and achieving gender equality. Janet also created , an intensive executive coaching platform where she advises male leaders on how to effectively handle gender-related challenges in the business environment, and thrive in today’s increasingly diverse business environment. She is currently writing a book on the Conversations with Men™ platform.
Janet serves at the Board, Advisory Council and Committees of several nonprofit organizations. She is a Board member at World Pulse, a global organization empowering women through digital communications. Janet also serves at the International Steering Committee of the Asian Women’s Leadership University Project (AWLU). Janet serves at the Advisory Board of the California Women’s Conference, the Ambassadors Advisory Council of the Dandi Awards since 2012, and the Advisory Board of Unleashed. She is also active in major LGBT business organizations such as the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce-LGBT-Committee.
Janet holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Baguio, Philippines, graduating with Honors. She also attended Saint Louis University-Philippines, where she pursued Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. She is on hiatus from the final stage of her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
