Farkanda Haseen-Amin
Philanthropist by nature, Farkanda Haseen has built her career on a foundation in a multicultural environment which requires respect, active listening, flexibility, and empathy. These traits have guided her interactions throughout her career and beyond these core traits, her education further enabled her to successfully connect with people of different backgrounds. In 2015, she was awarded for her outstanding services by the African Association of International Law (AAIL-AADI) in Libreville, Gabon. In 2017, she was recognized by the International Scout and Guide Fellowship of Bangladesh for her support in serving underprivileged communities and aiding in the distribution of supplies to the flood affected victims of Bangladesh. Gender equality, fairness, empowering women and children are her core beliefs, and she strives to become a global citizen who advocates for every individual of the society who yearns for equal status, opportunity, and rights.
Currently, she is a Legal Analyst for the World Bank Administrative Tribunal. Through her work at the Tribunal, she has gained significant experience on legal issues which the Tribunal passes judgment on, such as misconduct, retaliation, gender-based discrimination, and termination.
